I love how this book breaks down STEM and the different areas it entails. I love that there are black figures highlighted to inspire the reader to pursue a career in this field. There's a good balance of knowledge and life skills. Highly recommend!
This is awesome. Early in my career, I wondered why so few people looked like me in tech and even fewer engineers. I think one of the biggest reasons is that there is generally a big gap in info about STEM, which leads to less promotion and encouragement. Resources like this are needed.
The author’s ability to capture the beauty of science and some of its inventions by renowned scientists, individually or as a team left me inspired and enlightened. Each paragraph brought me into a better position to appreciate the relevance of black heritage in science.
